Great value for candle making

I was looking for a fun and affordable activity and found a candle making workshop on Classpop. It was my first time using the site. I got a pretty good deal, I think it was 15% off my first booking, which made the price really attractive. The class itself was well-taught, and I left with two candles I actually made myself! The materials were all included, so there were no hidden costs. For the price I paid, it definitely felt like a great value and a worthwhile experience. I'd consider booking again if another good offer comes up.

Fun class, minor issues

I tried a sushi making class through Classpop. The instructor was knowledgeable and made it fun, and the ingredients were fresh. It was a good time for a date night. My only small complaint was finding parking at the venue; the directions could have been clearer on that. Also, the online booking process was mostly straightforward, but the calendar was a little slow to load sometimes. Still, the value was decent for what we got, and customer service replied quickly when I had a question about materials.

Good pasta class

Booked a pasta making class. Instructor was good. Everything was set up when we got there. Learned some new things. Smooth experience overall. Would book again.

Consistent quality, returning customer

This was my third time booking with Classpop, and they're always reliable. I previously did a painting class and a cocktail making session. This time, I booked a bread baking class, and it was just as well-organized. The instructors are always enthusiastic and the materials are provided. It's nice not to worry about those details. The venues are usually pretty good too. I keep coming back because it's a solid choice for a fun evening out; the quality hasn't dropped off at all across my bookings.

Considering a paint and sip class, do I need to bring my own wine or is it provided? Are they usually BYOB?

D Donna G. 1 week ago
It varies by location and class. Some are BYOB, some have drinks available for purchase, and a few include one. Always double-check the class description.

I did a paint night where it was BYOB, which was great. But I've also seen some that include a glass. Look at the details for that specific class, it'll say.

Hey, wondering about the cooking classes, like pasta making or sushi. Do they provide all the ingredients and stuff, or do I gotta bring anything myself?

D Daniel Nguyen 2 weeks ago
Yeah, for cooking classes pretty much everything is included, ingredients and all the tools. You just show up ready to cook.

From my experience with a painting class and a cocktail one, all materials were supplied. I think it's standard for most of their events, so you probably won't need to bring anything.

Can you use more than one promo code at checkout? Like a first-timer one AND a holiday sale code?

M Michelle Thomas 4 days ago
Nah, usually you can only use one code per booking. Most sites are like that, it's either-or.

S Steven K. 1 day ago
Pretty sure they only allow one coupon at a time. I tried to stack a newsletter one with something else once and it didn't work.

Anyone know if they actually have classes in my city? I'm in Portland, Oregon and looking for some fun stuff to do.

L Leah J. 3 weeks ago
You can check on their site, just type in Portland OR. They have a pretty good selection there, I've seen some cool cooking classes listed.

They're in a lot of major cities, so probably. Just search by location on the homepage.

Thinking of booking a pottery class for a friend's birthday, but we're total beginners. Is Classpop good for people who've never done this kind of thing before?

J Julia G. 1 month ago
Definitely! I did a painting class and had no art skills whatsoever, the instructor was super patient and helpful. They cater a lot to beginners.

Most classes are designed for beginners, don't worry. They usually state it if it's more advanced, but for typical craft or cooking classes, you'll be fine.
